Erich C. Ferrari is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Ferrari & Associates in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ferrari represents foreign financial institutions, multi-national corporations, small and mid-size enterprises, and private individuals in matters involving U.S. sanctions administered by the United States Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”). Much of his work focuses on assisting clients in complying with various U.S. sanctions regimes, obtaining OFAC licenses for clients seeking to engage in transactions with blocked persons or embargoed jurisdictions, and representing parties in enforcement and delisting matters before OFAC.

Mr. Ferrari has written and lectured widely on all aspects of U.S. sanctions and on OFAC processes and procedures. He is also the founder and author of sanctionlaw.com, a blog focusing on OFAC and U.S.-sanctions related topics. Mr. Ferrari graduated from the St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2006 and was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2007.
