Matthew McGrath is Section Chief in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) where he leads a team of investigators who administer and enforce economic sanctions pursuant to U.S. foreign policy, and national security objectives. The Enforcement Division also serves as OFAC’s principal liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on matters pertaining to U.S. economic sanctions. While his team’s investigations span all OFAC’s programs, Mr. McGrath currently oversees the Asia, and Weapons of Mass Destruction programs for the Division.
