Polina Samuel is the Head of US Sanctions Advisory at HSBC Bank in Washington, DC, where she advises the lines of business and the bank’s internal functions on all aspects of compliance with U.S. sanctions regulations. Prior to joining HSBC, Polina spent two years working as a Senior Sanctions Compliance Analyst at Citibank, and five years at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. Polina is a graduate of Georgetown University and Catholic University Columbus School of Law.
