Steven Schrader is a Supervisory Export Policy Analyst in the Bureau of Industry and Security’s Human Rights and Embargoes Division. He oversees the licensing system for exports of items to sanctioned countries and for items that have particular risk of abuse in the commission of human rights abuses. He also formulates and develops policies and regulations for the administration in cooperation with other agencies of the U.S. government. Steve joined the Department in 2007 after graduating from the George Mason School of Law.
